In
this page, you will be able to complete our online freelancer
form (translators, editors, DTP artists, engineers and localization
experts) and access our linguistic resources via our server.
On an ongoing basis AbroadLink searches for
qualified and prepared professional who are looking forward to offering
high quality services and to establishing successful long-term
business relationships (you can visit our corporate page,
AbroadLink Philosophy, to understand more about our commitment to
clients).
To meet our clients needs we are constantly looking for: translators/editors/proofreaders
in any language pair, multilingual DTP artists, developers
and localization experts. If your

Criteria for translators/editors/proofreaders/interpreters

native speaker of the target
language

full time freelance translator/interpreter
-
university degree in translation/interpretation
(or a postgraduate course) or other professional qualification with excellent
knowledge of the source language (MD, scientists, lawyers...)

at least
one years experience living in the country of the source language
- user knowledge of and licence for at least one of the following translation memory programs: Trados, Dejá Vù, SDLX, Transit or WordFast
-
a minimum of 3-years full
time professional experience with an area specialization
-
three professional
references that include: company name, contact person's name, e-mail, and
phone details
- team spirit and skills
Criteria for Multilingual DTP artists (Ref.:

full time freelance DTP artist
- two-year nationally certified qualification in DTP

three-years professional experience
-
expert knowledge in multilingual font
management

expertise in one or several text and
graphic (vectors and bitmap) editors for Windows or Mac
(i.e.: QuarkXpress, FrameMaker, PageMaker, Photoshopt,
Illustrator, FreeHand…)
- three professional references that include: company name, contact person's name, e-mail, and phone details
